I love Beth Ditto as much as the next gal, but this song choice did nothing for her. Her voice doesn't even ring out well until maybe 1 minute and 25 seconds before the end of the song. Mika's voice suited The Eurythmics sound just fine and it's probably not in his best interest to back off from attacking the vocals, but still... as two great artists (or one good artist and one good Freddie Mercury imitator, depending on whom you ask), I think they really should've gone with something else. Perhaps that Elton + Kiki Dee number?
Just sayin' is all.

according perezhiltonmerica Mr.Mika refused to do the kiki & elton song that Miss.Ditto wanted. I love me some Mika because he only accepts what he considers to be the very best, though that may not actually be the case.
